About CSOS roles

A system administrator completes CSOS configuration, which includes role and user administration. After you create a role that includes Approve CSOS orders privileges, you can assign this role to one or more users who have DEA certificates. These users can view, approve, or reject all orders containing their individual DEA certificates. They can also add/edit the Notes, Quantity Received, and Date Received on their processed orders.

Axway does not recommend you give any CSOS user administrator privileges. The following CSOS order access applies to a user with administrator privileges who does not have an installed DEA certificate:

• Ability to view all pending orders
• Ability to reject any order
• No ability to approve orders
• Ability to add/edit Notes, Quantity Received, and Date Received on all processed orders

If the user with administrator privileges does have an installed DEA certificate, the following CSOS order access applies:

• Ability to view orders matching the user's DEA certificate(s) only
• Ability to reject visible orders only
• Ability to approve (with password) orders containing the user's DEA certificate number only
• Ability to add/edit Notes, Quantity Received, and Date Received on all processed orders
