Configure event purge

You can configure Activator to delete unwanted database records for message-related events based on the age of the records.

1. In the Activator user interface, from the menu bar select Trading configuration > Manage trading configuration to open the Communities page.
2. In the list of tasks, click Configure purge dates for events.
3. Select to either enable or disable event purges.
4. If you enable event purges, either accept the displayed interval or specify a new purge interval (frequency of purges).
5. The default configuration is to delete database records for message-related events after 45 days. The system checks every 15 minutes to delete events that have reached the age threshold.
6. We recommend setting the age for deleting message-related events identical to the age for deleting Activator messages. For more information, see Configure automated Activator purge.
5. Click Save changes.
