Add a WebEDI trading partner delivery

Use this procedure to add a delivery for sending messages to a WebEDI server.

Prerequisites

• You must be licensed to use the WebEDI connector.
• The WebEDI connector must be activated through the Activator installer.

Procedure

1. In the user interface, from the Partners menu select Manage partners.
2. From the list of partners, click the name of a partner to display the Summary page for that partner.
3. Click Partner delivery in the navigation graphic to open the Deliveries page.
4. Click Add a delivery to open the exchange wizard.
5. Choose the message protocol No packaging, and click Next.
6. On the Choose Transport Protocol page, select WebEDI, and click Next.
7. Enter a name for the delivery exchange. This is the name that is displayed in the UI.
8. Click Finish.

After you add this delivery

When the partner delivery is selected as the destination of a message (in a Metadata profile or in an Agreement), Activator sends the message to the WebEDI application.
