Email partner transport configuration

When you add a Community pickup and select either EDINT AS1 (email) or Generic email as the message protocol, on the following page you must select the type of email server you want to use:

Use a detached email server – Select this option to use an external POP server retrieve messages sent by partners.
To configure the email pickup to use this option, see Email (detached) trading configuration.
Use the system's global embedded SMTP server – Select this option to use the system’s default global embedded SMTP server to receive messages from partners.
To configure the email pickup to use this option, see Email (embedded) trading configuration .
Use a previously defined embedded SMTP server (if available) – This selection is available if you have already added a new embedded SMTP server.

Define a new embedded SMTP server – Select this option to add a new embedded SMTP server for use to receive messages from partners.
